10 USEFUL TIPS FOR NATURALLY FLAWLESS & HEALTHY SKIN

 

Hey my lovelies ! Hope ya’ll are doing great ! Writing a blog after very long.Sorry for being MIA I promise to write more often.And I choose this topic today because every one keeps asking me this & seems to be interested in knowing more about how to get clear healthy skin. Sharing some of my daily routine tips and tricks that have worked for my skin.Hope they work as well for you too.So without further ado, lets dive straight into it !

 

1.8 GLASSES OF WATER DAILY

Lets begin with the basics.Drink more water. Drinking at least 8 glasses a day will help rid the body and skin of toxins.Many people often report that by increasing their water intake, their skin has a more radiant glow.
The fact is that skin is an organ, and just like any other part of the body, your skin is made up of cells. And skin cells, like any other cell in the body, are made up of water. Without water, the organs will certainly not function properly or at their best.
If your skin is not getting the sufficient amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky.
So make sure to intake atleast atleast 7-8 glasses of water a day

 

2.BARLEY TEA

Barley tea is rich in antioxidants & minerals which protect & heal from cell and DNA damages. Good for anti-aging, healthy skin, and improve the overall immune system.
Barley tea can help in detoxifying your body in two ways. First, it cleanses your blood. Barley tea contains a substance called pyrazine that prevents blood coagulation and helps in improving circulation. It helps releasing all the toxins of the body and thus results in great skin and a healthy glow from within.
If not barley tea you can even opt for Green Tea which has anti oxidants and other potential skin care benefits

 

 

3.EXERCISE

When you workout there is increased blood circulation in and around your face, helping it beam with that natural glow. Apart from that exercise also causes the release of the ‘happy hormones’, and the rapid breathing helps oxygenate your skin making it healthier. All this put together gives your skin a healthy glow.
By increasing blood flow, exercise helps nourish skin cells and keep them vital.
Regular exercise helps tone muscles, of course. That doesn’t have a direct affect on skin, but firmer muscles definitely help you look better overall and your skin more toned by getting rid of the cellulite

So let’s accept the fact that keeping that skin young and healthy is a key to looking beautiful for longer! Cleansing, toning and moisturizing (CTM) routine should become a part of your life. Let me give a description on how to go about this skin cleansing, toning and moisturizing
CLEANSING
Cleansing is the step that is quite commonly followed by all women. Most of us cleanse our skin before going to bed or after getting back from work. This step involves complete removal of all makeup – foundation, blush, kohl, mascara, lipstick, everything! You can use a cleansing milk if you have dry skin or an oil free makeup remover or micellar water if you have oily skin
TONING
Toning is the step that most people miss out on. While the need for toner has been debated by cosmetologists in past, it is considered necessary by many since toning helps reduce the pore size and get rid of dead skin cells that contribute to dullness. Hence toning clears the skin from within and at the same time it also reduces the possibility of breakouts and further blackheads from developing.
MOISTURIZING
Cleansing and toning leave the skin bare and the pores open, and so, especially in the drier months, skin tends to lose moisture. If you don’t properly moisturize your skin, it could look sallow and patchy and may even wrinkle faster. So a good moisturizer is crucial. Be absolutely sure to pick one that suits your skin. If you have dry skin, opt for a heavy moisturizer that is specially formulated for dry skin. If you have oily skin, look for an oil free moisturizer that hydrates your skin without making it greasy. Do NOT skip moisturizer even in the summer months. If it’s too hot, use a light moisturizer that doesn’t feel heavy on your skin

They regulate signals in response to inflammation caused by acne and also have an anti-ageing effect on the skin. Both external and internal use can improve wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots.
Coconut water is a natural way to get rid of those acne and blemishes. Topical application of coconut water all over the skin helps lighten blemishes and healing acne.

 

6.OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS

Consuming foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids like fatty fish such as sardines, salmon, mackerel, tuna, anchovies, and black cod, may lead to smoother, younger-looking skin with a visible reduction in inflammatory skin conditions like acne and psoriasis. The fatty acids in fish oil supply hydration to your skin and help with inflammation. If you cant consume these foods, herbal omega 3 supplememts are easily available in the market and online too

VITAMIN C
When added to your daily routine, vitamin C provides a range of benefits, from evening out your skin tone, shielding skin from the visible impacts of pollution, significantly improving hydration, and keeping your skin looking younger, longer.Other benefits include stimulating collagen synthesis and assisting in antioxidant protection against UV-induced photodamage
VITAMIN A

Reducing stress may help lead to clearer skin. Anyone who’s had a pimple form right before an important event may wonder if stress caused the break out. While commonly linked anecdotally, proving the relationship between stress and inflammatory skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis and rosacea, is another matter.
When it comes to acne, stress releases cortisol, which can throw off the other hormones in your body and cause breakouts on your face or body. Stress can also disrupt the balance between the good and bad bacteria in your gut. That can then show up on your skin in the form of acne.So try and reduce the stress in your life,stay positive and be happy

 

8.REMOVE MAKEUP BEFORE GOING TO BED

Make sure to remove your makeup before going to bed as it can lead to breakouts. When you sleep in your makeup, it can mix with the dirt and oil that has built up throughout the day on the surface of your skin and this can lead to clogged pores which can in turn lead to breakouts.
It can lead to a dull-looking complexion in the morning. Also if you have dry skin & you sleep in your foundation, day-old foundation, powder, and eye makeup can settle into your creases and fine lines, causing your skin to look on the dull side. This might even make you look older than you really are which defeats the purpose of wearing makeup
It can block your nighttime anti-aging efforts. If you apply your anti-aging skin care products on top of your makeup at night, they won’t work like they’re supposed to. You should apply your anti-aging skin care products to clean skin for best results.

 

9.NIGHT CREAM

That brings me to my next very important point – Night Cream.Your night cream boosts collagen in your skin.The cream also helps in better blood circulation.The wrinkles and other lines on your face get reduced.One major role that a night cream plays is that it prevents your skin from sagging.It makes your skin soft and supple the next morning.Your aging skin may not look old anymore as it helps your skin to restore its elasticity and helps in renewal of the cells and nourishes your skin which all happens overnight when your body is at complete rest
Make sure to use a high quality night cream / serum.Some brands I would suggest which have given great results are Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, Artistry Youth Extend Enriching Night Cream, Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream

 

10.BEAUTY SLEEP

Lastly a good night’s sleep can mean good skin health because when you’re sleep-deprived, your body makes more of the stress hormone cortisol. Elevated levels of cortisol can lead to increased stress and inflammation in the body, hurting your skin’s quality.
While you’re sleeping, the body’s hydration rebalances. Skin is able to recover moisture, while excess water in general in the body is processed for removal. Not getting enough sleep results in poor water balance, leading to puffy bags under your eyes and under-eye circles, as well as dryness and more visible wrinkles.
When you sleep, your skin repairs itself, so cutting your sleep short causes your blood vessels to dilate under your eyes. When this happens, dark circles form
So definitely make sure to get enough sleep every night which is atleast 7-8 hours as that is the number of hours your skin needs to rejuvenate and rebalance itself

 

So that’s it folks.Hope you follow these tips and they help you get a clearer and healthier skin.Also not to mention eat right as your skin is a reflection of what you intake in your system,this being a very obvious point I did not include in my 10 tips nevertheless holds utmost importance in the way your skin looks.So eat healthy,stay happy and watch that skin glow from within 🙂
